The Epson 4000 is cutting edge for inkjet speed and quality. Using 7 colors (black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta, & light black), and resolution up to 2880dpi, it makes exceptionally beautiful prints up to 17" wide. We use it primarily to produce proofs for offset printing jobs.m, While the Epson 4000 doesn't duplicate an offset print job dot-for-dot the way a traditional matchprint does, it does provide very accurate color matches a fraction of the cost and time it takes to produce a matchprint. In other words, customers get to ensure the finished job will look just the way they want it, with less time and money invested in the proofing process.
